3 generations of Preepers enjoyed the (too brief) visit here: the beach combing, the exploring C.S.I., the cool fog when the rest of NS sweltered in 32' heat, the good food in Clark's Harbour, feeding the ducks, clambering over the rocks at the shore. Wow!! The cottage and surroundings are so pretty. We love the unique facilities and pride that has been put into the Cape Sable Cottages venture. We had the best time scooting about the area, canoeing, watching the sunset (we're thankful the fog lifted), and relaxing on the deck. It is lovely here. A wonderful respite after our cruise here from Portland, ME. The weather was rainy and foggy but we enjoyed it anyway. The cottage is cozy and a wonderful place to be stuck inside reading a good book. The choices for reading are excellent (I also brought my own). It was great to stay in and cook comfort food, read, watch TV and walk & feed the ducks when we had a quick break from the rain. I regret having to leave today. Wish you had another night open! There were 10 of us from the Crowell family - 5 kids and 5 adults and we all had a grand time. So impressed with the exquisityly decorated cottages. The kids loved the canoe rides. So what if there was fog - we went to Hawk Beach, visited family and relaxed a lot. You have done a fine job here. We hope to be back next year. Once again - this is a gem of a spot!! Thanks so much.
